We had a great 4th of July. It started out with a great bike ride with my wonderful husband. We rode up to our new house, and around town. It was a great morning for a bike ride, not too hot and not too cold. After the bike ride I came home and made potato salad, and cup cakes for our BBQ.
We had our good friends the Stokers, and the Schwendimans over. It was a great time. We had a wonderful dinner, and had a great visit. The kids loved playing together on our swing set. After it got dark we all went to our front yard and watched the Burley fireworks. We had a great view. This year they went on for a long time. After they were over we had a big firework display of our own. Lanny went a little crazy at the firework booth and spent way too much money, but it was worth it.
Alyssa didn't like the fireworks at all. It scared her. She wanted to go inside and watch them from the window, but I wouldn't let her down, so she finally gave up and fell asleep. (don't ask me how with the noise, but this little girl falls a sleep on our ATVs every time).
Over all it was a great 4th of July. I feel very blessed to live in this beautiful country!
God Bless the USA!
